Christmas Day
Christmas Day was spent at Pat's parents with his side of the family. We had a great time with everyone. I think that Kennedy, Ansley and Ella had the most fun. Aunt Katie bought tutu's for Kennedy and Ella, and they loved them. They danced around the house together holding hands. Ella thought this was pretty fun! I love seeing the two of them play together. Overall we had a wonderful Christmas with the whole family. We are so blessed to have such great families! We missed you Uncle Joe and Aunt Liz!
Christmas Eve
For the 2nd year in a row we had Christmas Eve festivities at our house with my family. My mom and I cooked a special dinner that was so yummy! My parents were so generous with giving this year and they absolutely spoiled Ella. Ella had such a good time opening her presents. I think she was a little overwhelmed with all the toys. Aunt Molly got her a Dora cell phone that she absolutely loves. If you didn't know she is obsessed with cell phones these days. At the end of the night she ended up playing with the new dog toys. Too funny!
Happy Birthday Maddie
On December 14, we went to visit our family in Terre Haute. We also went to our cousin Maddie's birthday party. She turned 7 years old and had a bowling party. She absolutely loves Ella and Ella loves her back just as much. It's so cute to see a 7 year old carry around a 1 year old. Ella didn't want Maddie to put her down. When Maddie was opening her presents Ella was right there checking everything out. I'm so thankful that we have such a great family and we all remain so close even though we are in Carmel. I hope that Ella will grow up knowing that her family is what matters most.
Ella's Baby Dedication
On December 13th Ella was dedicated at church. Although it is called a baby dedication, it is really a parent dedication. Pat and I have decided to raise Ella in a Christian home with Christian values. We want her to know that she can always count on Christ.
On a side note, she looked so cute in her little red dress and headband. We are such proud parents!
